Counseling Benefits​

A counseling session might include listening to and advising a students on course choices, evaluating a student who is struggling academically and providing solutions, helping a student plan their course schedule, or giving a student information about college majors, admission requirements, and financial aid or internship opportunities.

Advising and mentoring services for Middle School students include:
  • Early review of academic record with strengths/weakness analysis and personalized academic planning.
  • Guidance on subject and course selection to build strong foundations for high school and future career interests.
  • Support for students struggling academically through targeted strategies and structured improvement plans.
  • Exploration of interests, skills, and aptitudes to guide informed decisions about emerging academic and extracurricular pathways.
  • Recommendations for age-appropriate activities, clubs, competitions, and foundational leadership opportunities.
  • Introduction to resume building, communication skills, and reflective writing through workshops and guided exercises.
  • Information sessions to help students and families understand the long-term trajectory of high school and college pathways.
